Important Details About the AI & Sheep Workshop I Offered Yesterday

I want to compile a few details for the AI & Sheep workshop I offered yesterday (which sold out in a few hours, and now I've added a July date which is half sold out as well). There are six spots remaining as of Saturday morning.

Travel Questions

  1. The event is at my home in Guilford CT. It's a cute Gilmore Girls style town on the shoreline in Connecticut with amazing lobster rolls, pick your own fruit orchard, a small beach, and a town green.
  2. Because it's tucked away, getting here has basically two main options. It depends on where you're coming from. If you are on the east coast or even Chicago, Avelo is a great commuter airline that flies directly into Tweed New Haven - a one terminal airport that's about 15 minutes from my house. Super convenient!
  3. If you aren't on an Avelo route, your best bet is going to be to fly into Bradley International in Hartford and catch an Uber or rent a car to Guilford. The airport is about an hour away.
  4. If you're from New York, you can absolutely come in on Metro North or Amtrak. You would arrive in New Haven and then uber from there (about 15 minutes).
  5. Guilford doesn't have any worth-staying-in hotels, but the Blake New Haven is an amazing hotel and about 20 minutes away. Otherwise, your choices within a few minutes of my house are swanky bed & breakfasts in Madison CT (seahorse inn), a very expensive inn or two (in Madison CT), or Air BNB. Most of my clients do Airbnb when they come in for CEO week.
  6. I am on a 15 acre farm but Target is about 6 minutes away so we're not living too far out in the boonies. 😂

AI Questions

  1. I had a few people reach out and ask me if it was a good fit for them. They said they were already doing vibe coding, used Claude Code, had a Github account, etc. I promptly told them that if they were expecting this to me that technical (or more), they should not come.
  2. The point of this workshop is to build an organized AI infrastructure in your existing business that works for you to help you make more money and save time. This is not a workshop on how to build your own SaaS company. I am definitely not a technical expert in that regard. If you're looking for a cyborg, I'm not your girl! If you are looking for a usable system that changes how you work and how much money you can make with AI helping, I am your girl!
  3. You don't have to be using certain tools for this to be useful (outside of a few I will be recommending - Claude on Desktop is a must, and Obsidian will also be featured of course), but I want you to be able to build AI infrastructure with your current setup. I do also feature some Gemini flows (inside of Google Workspace), but I will not be teaching AI specifically in FG Funnels... though I'm happy to hotseat or answer questions if you are a user and need help with that.
  4. This is as much a "how to think and how to construct usable systems" as it is technical. I want it to be so accessible that if you've never done anything other than use ChatGPT, you can attend. But also, if you've used Claude CoWork, you might still find the systems and 2nd brain thinking very useful!

Farm Questions

  1. Yes, you can pet and feed the sheep. They are Valais Blacknose Sheep, considered the cutest sheep in the world.
  2. Yes, there are dogs and cats and llamas and chickens and a random bunny. If you are deathly allergic to cats, maybe bring some anti-death serum or reconsider.
  3. Yes, there is lots of property to walk and enjoy.
  4. Yes, there will be food for lunch both days provided plus ample drinks and caffeine.
  5. Yes you can uber here and yes there's plenty of parking if you want to rent a car.
  6. Yes, it's warm and humid in Connecticut (and I have central air).
  7. Yes, you can bring a nursing infant. No you cannot bring children. I already have too many. lol
  8. Yes, it's extremely casual. Think hoodie, jeans, sneakers. But feel free to do whatever is most comfortable for you!

Prep Questions

  1. In the next week or two, I will reach out to create a Voxer group for the event. This will be the way I communicate with the group, and also give you a chance to meet the other folks who will be there.
  2. I will also give you a few things to do to prepare for the event on your actual computer.

Honestly, I planned to share more information in the coming week but I didn't expect it to sell out so fast! So I decided to just share the information that would help those of you who are already coming, and those of you still trying to figure out if you can make it work.

Very excited to share my farm and my expertise with you!

Grab one of the last six spots for July here.

xx Julie
