Stop Reinventing the Wheel & Do This....

Sometimes I don't understand the need to re-invent the wheel.

It could be our own allergy to boredom. The desire to create. The instinct to optimize.

Whatever the reason, I've seen this "re-invent the wheel" torch more businesses and offers than I'd care to admit.

I'm on a mission to stop it, but I feel like people don't believe me. 😂 I'll give them a simple strategy and the response is...

"Yeah, but.... There must be something you're missing."

(proceeds to send me 75 page Claude written document of a 7-point growth plan with 5 new offers and ascensions)

In fact the other day, I had someone say they didn't think I took enough time to understand and know their business before giving them a strategy.

They doubted the strategy because in their mind, if I had read and really understood everything, my plan would have been different.

Here's what this person (and many others) are missing.

I've been coaching 100+ clients 1:1 for a decade. In every niche imaginable. I have a breadth of understanding that 99% of business coaches do not have. I've been through the 2018 surge, the 2020 covid stay-at-home craze, the 2024 oh shit contraction.

I've helped B2B, B2C, "broke audiences", small markets, you name it... I've seen it.

I don't need your 75 page plan.

You need to do ONE thing really well, long enough, until it "cooks" with momentum.

You don't have to believe me, but this is the path. And I will never understand why people think re-inventing the wheel is fun.

So I thought I'd outline a few containers that "cook". Meaning... I've seen people build solid, profitable, businesses through these models. Are they the only models? No.

Is there a benefit to you treasure hunting all the possible models and maybe even inventing a new one? 😅 Have at it, but I'm not going.

Here's what I've seen work (over and over and over and over)....

#1 High Ticket Asynchronous Mastermind/Hybrid Coaching Programs

This is my model. I plan to teach it again this fall. It works. I've helped clients repeat this model over and over. Jen, Ashley, Brad are three people who come to mind right away.

What are the pieces and parts that make this work?

  1. High Ticket ($6000 +)
  2. Rolling Enrollment
  3. Asynchronous Coaching
  4. Can be sold through a webinar or daily sales marketing channels

#2 Weekly Webinar to a Course, Program, or Software Between $500-$2000

This is the FG model. We teach this every day. Too many clients to count honestly but Sara, Amber, Tricia, Lindsay, Alene come to mind.

What are the pieces and parts that make this work?

  1. Course or program that is rolling enrollment
  2. Price between $500-$2000
  3. Must be sold through a choreographed webinar and done live weekly

#3 On Demand Or Live Webinar To An Apply Now Group Program

This model is a webinar, but instead of a buy now, it's to an application. And then on the phone, you sell them into a program that's between $2000-$4000 ish. I think of Lynette, Brandi, and a few others.

What are the pieces and parts that make this work?

  1. Rolling enrollment
  2. Price between $2500-$4000
  3. Must have an apply now and some sort of sales call/DM convo

#4 Live Launching Courses To A Large Audience (over and over and over)

This is popular right now because of Jessi Jean's epic launch. And lots of people have success doing this. The price can be pretty much anything, and you do a live launch with an open/close cart. Every single one of my clients has done one of these somewhere in their past (it's usually how we get a new offer out). Warning though - this is the least stable of all of them!

What are the pieces and parts that make this work?

  1. Email list or audience (bigger the better)
  2. Price ($97-$2000)
  3. Must have scarcity, urgency, good sales page, and email copy

#5 Paid LIVE Monthly Workshop To High Ticket Group Program

Katie Wight is probably the person I think of most here. She ran a monthly paid workshop for $97 and then sold a $5000 offer and scaled this quite well.

What are the pieces and parts that make this work?

  1. Willingness to run ads
  2. Price ($37-$97 for workshop with order bump and OTO ideally) to a high ticket back end
  3. Willingness to do the paid workshop over and over

Less common but still has worked... (these are infinitely harder by the way)

  • Multiple low ticket funnels connected by automations running off of ads
  • Million dollar summits that take 4-5 months to plan
  • Free challenges to a live launch (so much work, not sure why you want to do this)

Every single one of these containers can create a million dollar business... ON ITS OWN. Just one container. Just one people.

ONE.

You don't need more than one until the "one" is cooking well enough that you can add something else in.

Please don't reinvent the wheel.

xx Julie
